The Authority of Central Post is a special ministerial information unit, which performs the function of ensuring information and communication to the Party and State leaders to important key posts in the direction work, confidential and in the case of emergency in accordance with the law. The Authority of Central Post has its tasks and powers according to Decision 889/QD-TTg dated 4 June 2015 of Minister of Information and Communications prescribing the functions, duties, powers and organizational structure of the Authority of Central Post.
The Authority of Central Post shall have its legal status, owned seal with national emblem and accounts at the State Treasury, commercial bank accounts in accordance with law, its headquarter locates in Hanoi.
