So, after VNPT and Viettel, MobiFone and Gtel are the latest operators allowing to set up  the public telecommunications network and provide 4G services on the 1,800 MHz band. The licenses are valid until  September, 2024.
 
The Authority of Telecommunications said: at the end of  October, 2016, 4 operators had applied for 4G  licences to the MIC.
 
In terms of procedures, the 4G licensing process is conducted through the procedures for amending and supplementing the licenses of establishing public telecommunications networks and providing 2G, 3G mobile telecommunications services granted to the operators.
