Deputy Minister Phan Tam meets the Vice Ambassador of Japan to Vietnam

On August 22, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam met Mr. Nagai Katsuro, Vice Ambassador of Japan to Vietnam, on the occasion of the end of his tenure in Vietnam.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Phan Tam expressed his sincere thanks to the Vice Ambassador’s contribution to the cooperation between Vietnam and Japan in general as well as the Information and Communication sector in particular.
 
The Deputy Minister emphasized that the cooperation in information and communication between the two countries have come into reality, effectively and timely meeting the development needs of Vietnam, especially when Vietnam is attempting to enter the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
 
MIC is committed to the development of multifaceted cooperation with Japan. Both sides have developed and continuously expanded cooperation programs and projects. In the coming time, with the practical conditions and capabilities of each country, these cooperative activities have more conditions to develop.
 
Deputy Minister Phan Tam also hoped that Mr. Nagai Katsuro would continue to support and promote bilateral cooperation as well as share experiences, transfer tasks to successors to strengthen and further develop the achievements in the field of Information and Communication.
 
Mr. Nagai Katsuro sincerely thanked MIC for its support during his tenure in Vietnam. In recent years, the cooperation in information and communication between the two countries has been strongly promoted. In the coming time, he hoped the cooperation between the two sides would continue to be successful, bringing positive results to further develop the traditional relations between the two countries.
