Opening of International Postal Service Centre

On September, 01 st , 2016, at Noi Bai International Airport, Vietnam Post opened International Postal Service Centre. Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Minh Hong attended the ceremony.

To meet requirements of a UPU’s standardized supply chain of international postal services, enhance the efficiency and service quality, Vietnam Post diversifies international postal services.tal services from and to Viet Nam as well as delivering and receiving incoming and outgoing packages directly to an Accordingly, Vietnam Post establishes centers of international postal service centers to perform the task of exchanging international mails, mailers and parcels with the UPU community and exploiting posd from airlines

Located in an area of 2,700 m2, the center was installed with modern equipment in response to the Government’s policy on renovating, developing and modernizing the post sector.
 
The International Postal Service Centre is not only a turning point marking the development and comprehensive reform of the external postal service system according to ISO standards, but also contributes to enhance Vietnam Post’s operation to meet the needs of all customers.
 
It targets to enhance the professionalism, effectiveness and quality of international postal services, contributing to implementing the sector’s commitments to the Universal Post Union (UPU), the World Customs Organization (WCO), and the International Air Transport Association (IATA). 
 
According to a VNPost representative, the corporation will set up a system of 26 postal service centers across the country in an effort to modernize the country’s postal services.
