At the meeting, Mr. David Sun informed about Huawei Group’s income globally as well as in Southeast Asia during the first half of 2015. Accordingly, the total revenue of Huawei in Southeast Asia reached 3.5 USD billion with its growth of 30%. This year"s revenue is expected to reach 60 USD billion. Currently, Huawei operates in 03 major sectors: telecommunications, telephone and ICT. At the same time, Huawei contributes to training human resources for Vietnam ICT, not only students but also State agencies and enterprises’ staff.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Pham Hong Hai highly appreciated the growth of the Group as well as the support of Huawei to the development of mobile communication in Vietnam in recent years. Deputy Minister hoped that Huawei would continue to further strengthen its cooperation with Vietnam"s telecommunications businesses in technology transfer and application.
