Also, there are seven products for mobile phones that have made the final round this year. They are VNPT-Igate, which arranges and checks administrative document forms through only one website; My Vinaphone assists Vinaphone subscribers to monitor and manage their accounts and packages; and a mobile phone software which checks batch codes on products.
Speaking at a ceremony held on Monday to announce the list of 20 IT products to compete in the final round, editor-in-chief of Dantri/DTiNews Newspaper and head of the Vietnamese Talents Awards 2016 organizing board Pham Huy Hoan revealed that there are 260 entries from various countries, including Japan, New Zealand, and Canada.
According to a member of the jury board, Nguyen Long, who is also deputy secretary general of the Vietnam Association for Information Processing, this year there were a large number of products entered into the competition from start-up groups.
Long said this was also a positive sign for the Vietnamese IT sector, as the start-up community is becoming stronger, adding that most of the products could be widely used in the internet of things, smart agriculture, and in environmental protection.

The awards ceremony will be held in Ha Noi and broadcast live on VTV2 on November 19.
