Two Ministers signed the information cooperation plan for the period 2014- 2015 At the talks, Minister Bosengkham Vongdara informed Minister Nguyen Bac Son on the development of Laos’ information and culture sector. He also thanked Vietnamese Minister of Information and Communications for its help in organizing four press training courses for nearly 500 Lao reporters and editors.
Minister Nguyen Bac Son highly appreciated bilateral cooperation in information, he stressed that Vietnam will continue give its support for Laos in the field of television and press.
After the talks, two Ministers signed the information cooperation plan for the period 2014- 2015 between the Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Communications and the Lao Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism.
Previously, the Lao delegation visited and worked with the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and the Vietnam Television (VTV).

On the same day, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam received a delegation of the Lao Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, led by Minister Bosengkham Vongdara in Ha Noi. At the reception, the Deputy Prime Minister spoke highly bilateral cooperation in culture, information and tourism, stressing that Vietnam is willing to share Laos experience in the field. For his part, the Lao Minister thanked Vietnam for providing effective assistance to Laos in various areas over the years.
