Prime Minister, four Cabinet ministers to join National Assembly’s Q&A session

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and four Cabinet ministers will partake in a question-and-answer (Q&A) session of the on-going fourth sitting of the 15th National Assembly (NA) from November 3-5.

Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi will be the first to field queries at the NA's Q&A session, focusing on such issues as the current situation and solutions to improve the quality of urban development planning and management in Viet Nam, especially in big cities; management of the real estate market; construction of social housing for low-income people, among others. 

Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh and the Ministers of Planning and Investment, Finance, Transport, Natural Resources and Environment, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Governor of the State Bank of Viet Nam and the Auditor General of the State Audit Office may provide further information regarding the aforesaid topics.

Meanwhile, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung will response to inquiries on application of information technology in State management; e-Government development; building, connecting, sharing and exploiting the national database; development of information technology human resources in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, among others. 

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam and the Ministers of Planning and Investment, Finance, Home Affairs, Public Security, Justice, Science and Technology, Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Minister-Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities Affairs and the Minister-Chairman of the Government Office will also be called to explain related matters.

Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra will be questioned about the reorganization of the apparatus, staff streamlining, restructuring of public non-business units, measures to improve the quality of public servants, among others. 

Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh and the Ministers of Finance, Education and Training, Health and Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs may provide further information regarding these areas.

Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate Doan Hong Phong will explain on how to improve the efficiency and effectiveness in inspection activities, promote communication and education on anti-corruption and launch measures to fight against corruption and negativity in inspection activities. 

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai and the Ministers of Finance, Public Security and Justice, the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy, the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court and the Auditor General of the State Audit Office may provide further information regarding the aforesaid topics.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will appear before the NA to give further explanations on relevant issues and answer questions raised by the legislators./.
