Vietnam's online child protection organization internationally honored

CyberKid Vietnam recently won the category Social Impact - Asia Pacific of the Customer Success Awards 2021 organized by Workplace from Meta.

CyberKid is the first social organization in Vietnam established to protect and support children in cyberspace. The organization was launched based on ideas of and is owned and operated by Vietnamese people.

The Customer Success Awards is organized annually by Workplace from Meta to honor organizations and businesses that use the Workplace platform effectively to achieve meaningful goals and achievements.

Workplace is an online communication platform for businesses developed by Meta (Facebook's new name) to support connections between employees in an organization or a business.

The Customer Success Awards 2021 found 32 winners in eight categories. The award in the Social Impact category is for organizations with innovative initiatives and projects that serve society and put the community's interests first.

In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, Workplace has supported CyberKid with an online working tool for more than 100 employees. The organization's remote working process is uninterrupted and remains efficient thanks to this platform.

According to a representative of CyberKid Vietnam, Meta's toolkit is of great significance in helping the unit build a dynamic and creative working environment for all employees. Thus, CyberKid team can focus on developing projects to make an impact and protect millions of Vietnamese children.

Since September 2020, based on Workplace, CyberKid has deployed solutions to help ensure safety in the digital space to more than 15,000 Vietnamese children. The project has also attracted the participation of more than 300 volunteers across the country.
