Acting Minister Nguyen Manh Hung meets Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of Laos
On September, 10 th , Acting Minister Nguyen Manh Hung met Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of Laos Bosengkham Vongdara.
At the meeting, Acting Minister Nguyen Manh Hung expressed his thanks to the delegation of the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism of Laos for visiting the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam and believed that this visit would contribute to the deepening relation between the two countries. He informed that Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, in his working session with MIC, emphasized the important role of propaganda, press and publishing.
Minister Bosengkham Vongdara thanked the Ministry of Information and Communication for helping Laos organize short-term training courses for more than 200 Lao correspondents and editors. The minister suggested that Vietnam continue to support Laos in press training in the coming years.
Acting Minister Nguyen Manh Hung proposed two ministries should promote the press and broadcasting agencies to strengthen information about the relation between the two Parties, two States and two peoples. At the same time, it is necessary to organize events to promote information between the two countries. He also believes that the cooperation between the two ministries will be more effective in the future.
