Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hong met Mr EK Vandy, Secretary of State of Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Cambodia

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hong highly appreciated the cooperation between the two ministries and expressed his confidence that the delegation's mission to Vietnam would continue to tighten and consolidate the cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia in the field of post and communications.

 

On the basis of the cooperation between the two countries in the field of post and telecommunication as well as the commitments of cooperation between the Minister of Information and Communications and the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications of Cambodia, Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hong suggested the two sides promote cooperation activities as well as focus on strengthening the traditional bilateral cooperation in post and telecommunications; Strengthening and prioritizing cooperation in human resource development and training programs; Attaching importance to creating conditions for training institutions of the two sides to implement short-term and long-term training courses...

 

Secretary of State EK Vandy confirmed the purpose of the visit was to strengthen the cooperation between the two Ministries and promote the traditional good relations between the two countries in general. On this occasion, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Cambodia also expressed the wish that the Government and Ministry of Information and Communications continue to support and create favorable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to invest in Cambodia as well as the business of Cambodian businesses in Vietnam.

 

In addition, the two sides agreed to continue to work closely together and support each other in international organizations, such as ITU, UPU.
