Deputy Minister Phan Tam meets the Ministry of Home Affairs and Communications of Japan

On January 25, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam met and worked with the Ministry of Home Affairs and Communications of Japan, headed by Mr. Seigi Taikagi, Director of International Affairs.

At the meeting, Mr. Seigi Taikagi, Director of International Affairs, Global Strategic Agency, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan, informed about the preparation for the 1st Vietnam - Japan Joint Working Group Meeting and expected mechanism of Vietnam - Japan working group meetings.
 
Accordingly, the content of the Joint Working Group meetings between Vietnam and Japan will cover the following issues: smart city construction, information security and  radio frequency.
 
Mr. Seigi Taikagi expressed his wish to be supported by Ministry of Information and Communication, enabling Japanese enterprises to participate in implementing ICT projects in Vietnam in the coming time. On this occasion, the Ministry of Home Affairs and Communications of Japan will bring some Japanese experts and enterprises to  present their solutions and strengths.
  
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Phan Tam highly appreciated the preparation of Japan and expressed his agreement with the contents of the proposed mechanism of group meetings.
 
Deputy PM Phan Tam said that Japan was now Vietnam's leading partner in the field of information and communication technology. With careful preparation, the Deputy Minister believed that the two sides would come up with appropriate recommendations and policies, creating opportunities for the cooperation between the two countries.
 

The Ministry of Information and Communication will continue to create favorable conditions for Japanese companies to invest in Vietnam, create an open environment for Japanese enterprises, especially enterprises in the field of information and communication.
