Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Hung received the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications of Laos
On December, 11, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Hung had a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Post and Telecommunications of Laos Bounsaleumsay Khennavong.
In the visit, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Laos studied the building of e-government in Vietnam, especially in localities and the Document Management System at the Ministry of Information and Communication being operated and managed by the Information Center.
Deputy Minister Bounsaleumsay Khennavong also expressed his wish to strengthen the cooperation between LANIC and VNNIC, cooperating on optical fiber transmission, smart agriculture, smart healthcare.
Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Hung expressed his pleasure about the comprehensive cooperation between the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Laos, and highly appreciated VNPT's efforts to support Laos in its broadband development, e-government building, smart agriculture solutions, smart healthcare, etc.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Hung emphasized that for the building of e-government, the most important content is the use of electronic documents in state agencies.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Hung affirmed that the Ministry of Information and Communications would create all favorable conditions for VNNIC to support LANIC to strengthen its management, as well as the co-operation between VNPT and Laos to build broadband network, intelligent solutions such as smart healthcare and smart agriculture.
