Vice President of Myanmar receives Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan
On his working visit to Myanmar, Minister Truong Minh Tuan was received by Vice President of Myanmar Myint Swe.
At the meeting, Minister Truong Minh Tuan expressed his sincere appreciation to the people of Myanmar for the traditional friendship between the two countries. He congratulated achievements that the Myanmar people won in building and developing the country.
The visit to Myanmar of the Minister of Information and Communications of Vietnam is to effectively implement the previous agreements between General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Htin Kyaw, contributing to deepening the comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Myanmar, especially in the field of information and communication.
The Minister thanked the Vice President and the Government of Myanmar for their cooperation in the field of information and communication and hoped that the Government of Myanmar would continue to create favorable conditions for Vietnam’s telecom and IT operators.
The Vice President said Myanmar had been cooperating with hundreds of companies and operators around the world. He agreed to share information for the two countries have more opportunities to know each other, deepening the relationship between the two countries. He said that the two countries should continue to exchange high-level delegations and said he had visited Vietnam twice to discuss the promotion of cooperation. He affirmed that the Government of Myanmar would always create favorable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises and commit to equal treatment between domestic and foreign enterprises.
