The exhibition on Photos and Reportage – Documentary Films of ASEAN Community in Ninh Binh
On August 28, in Ninh Binh, MIC coordinated with Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee to hold the Opening Ceremony of the exhibition on Photos and Reportage – Documentary Films of ASEAN Community in Vietnam. Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan attended the event.
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Minister Truong Minh Tuan emphasized that the exhibition was one of the highlights of the Government Action Plan 2017-2020 on ASEAN promotion as well as benefits brought by the Community.
The exhibition introduces over 300 prized photos and nearly 60 documentary films of international festivals of Photos and Documentary Films organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
The works reflect a variety of topics such as the beauty of the countries of ASEAN countries, traditional ASEAN cultures, environmental protection, anti-climate change, ethnic groups in the ASEAN.
Especially, appearing in an attractive position in the exhibition is the common stamp and seal of ASEAN. This is the first prize in the ASEAN stamp design contest 2015.
The exhibition is also a call for the Vietnamese people to work together to build the ASEAN Community, a community for the purpose of peace, stability, development and people-oriented, raising the awareness about the development of the ASEAN Community. This is the result of 50 years of cooperation of all member countries, marking the milestone of ASEAN integration process, in which Vietnam is considered as an important factor.
After the exhibition, all photos will be given to Ninh Binh People's Committee in order to further propagandize and promote the ASEAN Community.
