Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hong receives the Hitachi’s delegation

On May 9, Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hong met with Hitachi’s delegation (Japan) led by Mr. Akira Shimizu, Senior Executive General Director.

At the meeting, the representative of Hitachi Group reported to Deputy Minister about the implementation of the IT service project between Hitachi and Vietnam Post Corporation (VNPost).
 
Mr. Akira Shimizu expressed his wish to be supported by MIC with favorable conditions for the enterprises to successfully implement objectives of the project and promote the development of two countries' ICT sector in the future.
 
Mr. Akira Shimizu also said he would send Japanese experts to work with Vietnam and bring the most appropriate and advanced technologies to Vietnam to jointly carry out the project in the most effective way.
 
At the reception, Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hong appreciated the cooperation between enterprises of Vietnam and Japan in recent years. In the project of providing IT services between Hitachi Group and Vietnam Post Corporation, Deputy Minister said that the two sides had achieved important results initially.
 
Hitachi Group is currently the leading partner in Vietnam in the field of information and communication technology. With the positive signals in this project, the Deputy Minister hoped that the cooperation in the field of information and communication between enterprises of the two countries would be increasingly promoted and developed, brought  opportunities to the development of the Post.
 
Ministry of Information and Communications will continue to create favorable conditions for the two enterprises to develop the project. At the same time, Vietnam will continue to improve its policies to create favorable environment and conditions for Japanese enterprises, especially enterprises in information technology .
