This is the first incubator established by the Hanoi People’s Committee in the field of information technology.

The incubator has an open space featuring three sections, with one for work, one for workshops and product introduction and another for community events. It has been equipped with modern technical infrastructure and gathers qualified IT entrepreneurs and experts, serving the goal of supporting successful entrepreneurship for IT businesses.

According to Vu Tan Cuong, Director of the Hanoi IT and Communication Transaction Centre, the establishment of the incubator demonstrates the city’s determination in setting policy mechanisms to build the startup ecosystem, assist and promote the development of Hanoi’s startup enterprises, and build it into an innovative startup city.

The management board of the incubator signed cooperation deals with a number of prestigious partners, including the startup foundation for Vietnam’s science and technology businesses, the Vietnam Innovative Startup Accelerator (VIISA) fund, Microsoft Vietnam, the Hanoi Telecom JSC, and CMC Telecom JSC.

The abovementioned partners will accompany the Hanoi incubator in supporting the acceleration of the development of local startup businesses.
