Deputy Minister Phan Tam talked with Director General of Samsung Complex Vietnam
On July, 19 th , 2016, Deputy Minister Phan Tam had a meeting with Mr. Han Myoungsup, Director General of Samsung Complex Vietnam.
Vietnam is preparing for the official license of 4G. To ensure that the 4G license runs smoothly and efficiently, as well as maintain the fair and healthy competition of the telecommunications market after licensing, the MIC has actively consulted management experience from developed countries, as well as recommendations, assistance from international experts, especially leading multinational telecom businesses. The talk with Mr. Han Myoungsup, Director General of Samsung Complex Vietnam is also in a series of this consultation.
At the meeting, Mr. Han Myoungsup shared with Deputy Minister Phan Tam and representatives from several departments of the Ministry critical issues when deploying 4G licenses. The Samsung representative committed to support 4G deployment of Vietnam by sharing experience and supporting equipment.
Deputy Phan Tam appreciated Samsung’s recommendations, and expressed interest in the deployment and cooperation between Korea and Vietnam’s businesses in deploying 4G. Vietnam is an open market with potentials for telecommunication businesses. MIC particularly interests in cooperation between domestic and foreign businesses in this area. The Ministry will facilitate for both national and international businesses to develop simultaneously.
