VNPT and Slavia Capital Services (SCS) signed Memorandum of Cooperation

On July, 17 th , 2016, in Hanoi, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) and Slavia Capital Services (SCS) of Slovakia signed a memorandum of cooperation. The signing ceremony took place with the presence of Mr. Robert Fico, Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovakia and Mr. Truong Minh Tuan, Minister of Information and Communications of Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

As part of the signed Memorandum, SCS will cooperate and support VNPT in promoting trade and investment in Slovakia as well as introduce Slovakia’s telecommunications and IT providers, particularly in the areas of e-government, natural resources and environment, health, social insurance, etc.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Minister Truong Minh Tuan appreciated the signed memorandum between VNPT and SCS during the visit of Slovakian Prime Minister to Vietnam.
 
Minister Tuan affirmed, as the administrative management agency in ICT, MIC always supported and created favorable conditions for foreign businesses investing and cooperating in the field of Information and Communications in Vietnam. Currently, the investment environment in Vietnam is improving substantially and synchronously, including the implementation of the Enterprise Law and the Investment Law. The administrative reform, enterprise restruction are being implemented, contributing to creating a favorable, transparent and open investment environment for businesses.
 
Minister Tuan expressed his appreciation for Prime Minister's visit accompanied by 18 Slovakia’s large enterprises, especially including 10 enterprises operating in the field of ICT. It shows the interest of the Prime Minister and the business delegation of Slovakia for the Vietnam market.
 
Witnessing the signing ceremony between VNPT and SCS, Prime Minister Robert Fico expressed his pleasure with the partnership between the two companies in particular and Vietnam - Slovakia in general.
 
Prime Minister of Slovakia, said: Comparing with his previous visit to Vietnam in 2008, Vietnam had made many innovations, especially in the field of Information and Communications. He was particularly impressed with the development of social networks in Vietnam.
  
The Prime Minister said that Slovakia had the potential of attracting more investors into the IT field with advantages. As the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Prime Minister of Slovakia pledged to boost cooperation of Vietnam - EU in general and Vietnam - Slovakia in particular.
