Minister Truong Minh Tuan meets Swedish Ambassador
On July, 15 th , 2016, in Hanoi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan had a meeting with Swedish Ambassador Camilla Mellander.
At the reception, Minister Truong Minh Tuan expressed his pleasure about the result of fruitful cooperation between Sweden and Vietnam - the two countries are pushing forward the strategic partnership.
The Minister congratulated the Ambassador for the completion of her mission in Vietnam with positive contributions in consolidating and strengthening the friendly relation and cooperation between the two countries.
The Minister also appreciated cooperation in the field of Information and Communications. On the basis of the achievements, the two sides would continue to promote cooperation and exchange experiences in the field of Information and Communication in the near future, including the promotion of cooperation between telecommunications enterprises such as Comvik and Ericsson Sweden with Mobifone Vietnam.
Speaking at the meeting, Ambassador Camilla Mellander said, Sweden has always been a sincere friend of Vietnam. And the Ambassador has had many practical activities related to the field of Information and Communications.
Ambassador appreciated the role of MIC, enabling people to access to official information, bringing the voice of the Party, the State closer to the people. Mrs. Camilla Mellander expressed Sweden was ready to support Vietnam in the field of Information and Communications by maintaining experts from Sweden to Vietnam and creating favorable conditions for Vietnam’s enterprises. She hoped, in the near future, both sides would have comprehensive cooperation in all fields.
