Minister Nguyen Bac Son receives French Ambassador

Minister Nguyen Bac Son on 23 August received French Ambassador Jean Noel Poirier who has presented the State President his credentials.

At the meeting, the Ambassador said that French enterprises pay much attention to issues managed by MIC such as: Internet, Pay TV, information security.

Minister Nguyen Bac Son highly appreciated the Ambassador’s visit to the Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Communications. Minister Nguyen Bac Son said he hopes that the Ambassador will be the link between the Ministry and French management Agencies to further boost cooperation in ICT sector.

Minister Nguyen Bac Son also hoped that there will be more French enterprises doing business in Viet Nam.

A MIC’s delegation, led by Minister Nguyen Bac Son, will pay a visit to France in the coming days. Through this visit, Minister expects France to share its experiences in such issues as: building of ICT legal documents, IT, posts and telecommunications, information security and public utility telecommunications.
