Minister Nguyen Bac Son receives Mr. Mohamed Abdel Kareem Alhad, Minister for Communications and Information Technology of Sudan

On May, 30 2012 at the headquarter of MIC, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Bac Son had a talk with Mr. Mohamed Abdel Kareem Alhad, Minister for Communications and Information Technology of Sudan who had paid a working visit to Viet Nam.

Two Ministers exchanged the current status of ICT development in each country, especially in telecommunications sector.

Minister Nguyen Bac Son said that Vietnam’s telecom market has been robustly expanding in recent years with 6 mobile service suppliers and 127 millions mobile subscribers.

Two Ministers also shared the views and experiences in software development, information technology, computer manufacturing, human resource training and information security.

Minister Nguyen Bac Son expected that Sudansese government would create favourable conditions for Vietnamese telecom businesses to invest in Sudanese market and support Vietnam to stand for election to UPU Council of Administration of the 2013-2016 term.

At the talk, two Ministers agreed on tasking related agencies under two Ministries to accomplish necessary procedures for the signing of Memorandum of Understanding in the near future.
