Webiste of MIC on the top on providing information

On 11 March, 2011, Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) announced the assessment result on Websites/ Portals and IT application level of Ministries, Ministerial- level Agencies and Provinces in 2010. Accordingly, websites of Thua Thien Hue, Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) and MIC are the highest ranked ones based on assessment criteria.

This was the 4^th survey carried out by MIC to assess Websites/ Portals in order to promote information and online public services to make favorable conditions as well as transparency in serving citizens and enterprises. In this assessment, MIC expanded the scale of the survey and assessment on  IT application in state agencies’ activities.

According to assessment result, Websites/ Portals of such provinces: Thua Thien Hue, Hau Giang, Dong Nai, Long An, Da Nang were on the highest rank on the overall ranking of Websites/ Portals and online public providing at provincial level. Websites/ Portals of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang were also on the top 10.

                

Websites/ Portals of Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Science and Technology were ranked on the highest positions according to criteria for providing information and online public services.

Especially, in the criteria of providing information on Websites/ Portals, Website of MIC was on the top and Website of MoET was ranked on highest position on providing online public services.

On IT application level, provinces such as Hue, Da Nang, Nghe An, HCM City and Ben Tre were on the top, and Websites/ Portals of Ministries such as Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Information and Communications and Ministry of Foreign Affairs were ranked on the highest positions.
