Speaking at the conference, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung emphasized: Digital ASEAN will make ASEAN become flat, create new strength for ASEAN, make ASEAN members become closer. Digital transformation opens up great opportunities for developing countries.

According to Minister Nguyen Manh Hung, ASEAN countries will take advantage of this opportunity to become digital economies. The digital economy will play a key role in increasing labor productivity, promoting economic growth and the country's competitiveness.

In the past, technologies only improved our lives, our management but we do not change much. But today, technologies has changed the way we live and how we manage. We have to change, change our mind. However, the people and the Government do not change as fast as the technology. This is our biggest challenge. Therefore, we must train human resources so that they can adapt to change, not only technology training but also training in soft skills.

The "One ASEAN" initiative is a good idea and Digital ASEAN makes ASEAN a path for ASEAN mobile development, an ASEAN ICT university, an ASEAN data management framework, an ASEAN electricity payment system and an ASEAN information security network. ASEAN will become bigger, stronger and more prosperous. This is a long way we must go. Minister Nguyen Manh Hung truly believes that ASEAN will work together to build a prosperous ASEAN and a digital ASEAN.

Together with FPT, Grab, Microsoft, Google ..., VNG Corporation is one of 14 businesses committed to participating in the ASEAN Digital Skills Vision 2020. ASEAN Digital Skill Vision 2020 is the cooperation program of the World Economic Forum aiming to train more than 20 million workers, raise $ 2 million scholarship fund for students and at the same time create jobs for more than 200,000 digital workers of small and medium enterprises in Southeast Asia.
