Quang Binh to increase coverage of free wifi

The central province of Quang Binh plans to provide free wifi at 12 locations of attraction to serve local people and tourists, according to the provincial Department of Information and Communications.

Accordingly, the locality will install free Wi-fi at 12 locations this summer, such as Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Center, Da Nhay beach, General Vo Nguyen Giap’s tomb, Hoang Phuc pagoda, Lieu Hanh princess temple, Canh Duong fishing village, Bao Ninh square, Mother Suot statue, and Tam Toa Church war remnants area.

The installment and provision of free wifi looks to meet visitors’ demand for getting access to the Internet, both foreign and domestic ones, helping visitors to look for information when travelling to the province. 

The coverage of free wifi is expected to enhance service and trade activities for local businesses and households, manifesting the province’s determination to launching e-authority and administrative reform.
