Deputy Minister Hoang Vinh Bao receives the Cuban Book Institute’s delegation

On May 8, at the headquarters of the MIC, Deputy Minister Hoang Vinh Bao had a meeting with the delegation of Cuban Book Institute led by Mr. Juan Carlos Santana Molina, Vice President.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Hoang Vinh Bao stressed that Vietnam and Cuba were two countries with good relations, good traditions and similarities in the history of the struggle for national liberation. The peoples of the two countries have always given sincere feelings and precious support for each other.
 
In recent years, the field of post, telecommunications and information technology between the two countries have significant development. Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Communications of Cuba on cooperation in communication between the two countries. This is an important legal basis for the two countries to promote cooperation in the field of post, telecommunications and IT.
 
Deputy Minister added that the Ministry of Information and Communications was building a project to strengthen cooperation in information and communication between Vietnam and Latin American countries, therefore, Cuba would be the main partner, a bridge for Vietnam in promoting cooperation with countries in Latin America. Conversely, Vietnam will help Cuba promote cooperation with ASEAN countries.
 
At the reception, Mr. Juan Carlos Santana Molina hoped the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) to continue its support and create favorable conditions and direct the Authority of Publishing, Printing and Distribution to deepen the cooperation with the Cuban Book Institute in the coming period.
 
On this occasion, the Authority of Publishing, Printing and Distribution signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOU) with the Cuban Book Institute in publishing, printing and distribution.
