Institute of Post and Telecommunications Technology signed a cooperation agreement with Samsung Electronics

On February 9th, in Hanoi, the Institute of Post and Telecommunications Technology and Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to sign a cooperation agreement for the period of 2018 - 2020. Attending the ceremony was Minister Truong Minh Tuan.

This is the continuity of the MoU between the two sides in the 2014-2017. The two sides raised the cooperation to a new development to bring into play the potential and strength of both sides.
 
Accordingly, the two sides will continue to cooperate in the implementation of the five following activities: Samsung will continue to provide 20 scholarships/year to students of the Institute of Post and Telecommunication Technology; assist the Institute to improve the facilities of the Lab and the Samsung Laboratory; fund its research and development projects if meeting Samsung's requirements; collaborate with the Institute for the design and implementation of training programs, and give the priority of recruiting the Institute’s students.
 
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Truong Minh Tuan congratulated the achievements of the two sides. 57 students have received scholarships from the Samsung Group, hundreds of students  working in Samsung. The Samsung Group helps to improve facilities of the Institute. Minister Truong Minh Tuan acknowledged and appreciated the great social significance of Samsung Vietnam's agreement with the Institute of Post and Telecommunications Technology, which not only helps the Institute access to advanced technology but also shortens the technological gap with other countries in the region as well as the efforts of Samsung in the development of human resources, bringing new technologies into Vietnam and have made great contributions to the development of Vietnam's IT sector over the years.
