Publish the series of books on "45th anniversary of diplomatic relations of Vietnam - India"

The launch of books on "45th anniversary of diplomatic relations of Vietnam - India" officially took place on January 19 in Hanoi with the presence of Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan - President of Vietnam-India Friendship Association.

On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India, the Information and Communications Publishing House has collaborated with the Indian Research Center (Ho Chi Minh Political Academy) and the Vietnam-India Friendship Association publish the books on the country, people, history and culture of India; achievements and potential cooperation between the two countries.
 
Speaking at the event, Minister Truong Minh Tuan shared: over the past half century, despite the situation of each country, the situation in the region and the world have experienced many fluctuations, the relationship between Vietnam and India remains strong. Since 2007, this relationship had been upgraded to Strategic Partnership. In September, 2016, Vietnam and India upgraded their relationship from a strategic partner to a full-fledged strategic partner to meet requirements of the new situation.
 
According to Minister Truong Minh Tuan, 2017 is a particularly important year in diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India when the two countries celebrate the 45th anniversary of the diplomatic relation (07/01/1972 - 07/01/2017) and 10 years of strategic partnership (July 2007 - July 2017).
 
The Minister hopes that the book will be an gift to Vietnamese readers as well as people who love and study about India and the special relationship between the two countries, thereby gaining a comprehensive view on the friendship between Vietnam and India.
