The WhiteHat Grand Prix – Global Challenge was launched in 2014 on a national level by WhiteHatVN.com, the leading cyber security forum in Vietnam. In July 2015, the company began rolling out the global competition quarterly.

The competition aims to create a venue for the cyber-security community to share experiences and techniques with others, while keeping them updated on the latest technologies in cyber security.

Taking place continuously over 24 hours, from 02:00 UTC December 16 to 02:00 UTC December 17, online at https://GrandPrix.WhiteHatVN.com/, this year’s competition focuses on the theme ‘Vietnam Heritages’.

It attracted the participation of 452 teams from 62 countries and territories from around the world including the US, the Republic of Korea, Poland, Ukraine, Australia, China and Italy, who were tested on reverse engineering, web security, forensics, and cryptography.
