Deputy Minister Phan Tam met with the President of Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts in France

On June 22, Deputy Minister Phan Tam met with Prof. Nguyen Duc Khuong, President of Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts in France (AVSE).

At the reception, the President of AVSE reported to Deputy Minister Phan Tam on the development of the Association. AVSE is an association of many prestigious scientists and senior experts in various fields in France and many countries in the world.
 
On this occasion, AVSE President also reported to the Deputy Minister about the plan to coordinate with the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to held the Digital Economy Forum of Vietnam in 2017 with the purpose of creating chances for businesses and public organizations in Vietnam to exchange with industry experts about their experiences in deploying and managing digital economic models (scheduled on October this year). He proposed MIC to support the event in communication to potential beneficiaries, organization of a discussion between the leaders of MIC and experts, etc.
 
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Phan Tam highly appreciated the activities of AVSE in recent years. The content, proposal of the Association on the Digital Economy Forum of Vietnam in 2017, the Deputy Minister assigned a number of functional units under the Ministry in coordination with the Association. According to the Deputy Minister, this is a forum with many new and practical contents related to the ICT sector issues that MIC is interested in such as big data and artificial intelligence, start-up, digital infrastructure, etc.
