New bilingual book to introduce Vietnam to the world

The Authority of Foreign Information Service under the Ministry of Information and Communications has joined hands with the Institute for Southeast Asian Studies, Vietnam Pictorial and The Gioi Publishing House to release “Vietnam Yearbook 2016” book.

The 180-page book, 60 cm by 20 cm, is about the history of Vietnam, unique cultural traits of different regions and popular places of interest and the dynamic and friendly Vietnamese people. It also contains images of people, events, festivals and landscapes.
 
Foreigners, investors, tourists and people interested in discovering the country can find the book useful and interesting.
 
Vietnam Yearbook 2016 consists of seven chapters and one appendix and has a special section about human rights and social welfare in Vietnam.
 
According to Le Van Nghiem, head of the Authority of Foreign Information Service, said images of Vietnam as a peaceful and stable country and as an interesting destination for people worldwide can be found in the book.
