Minister Truong Minh Tuan receives Australian Ambassador

On November, 04, at the headquarters of the MIC, 18 Nguyen Du, Hanoi, Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan met and worked with Mr. Craig Chittick, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Australia in Vietnam.

At the meeting, Minister Truong Minh Tuan overviewed five state management sectors of the MIC. He emphasized the cooperation between Vietnam and Australia in the field of Post, Telecommunications and Press. About the cooperation between the two countries, the Minister affirmed, Vietnam and Australia relations were developing. Australia has supported Vietnam since the 1980s when the embargo on Vietnam wasn’t lifted.
 
Typically, the cooperation between the two countries is a partnership between Telstra and telecom businesses in Vietnam.
 
Minister Truong Minh Tuan hoped the Ambassador would be successful  on his new position, and would make a significant contribution to the development of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of Information and Communications.
