To implement the policy of pilot digitizing terrestrial television in Da Nang and North of Quang Nam, on June, 23rd, 2015, Steering Committee of Vietnam TV digitization Project issued Document No. 03/BCDDASHTH-VP concerning the plan to stop broadcasting analog channels in Danang, according to the conclusions of Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Bac Son – Director of Steering Committee, at the 8th Meeting Session of the Steering Committee.
Details as follows:
- From July, 01st, 2015: Stop broadcasting terrestrial analog channels: VTV6, VTV Danang and DRT1;
- From September, 30th, 2015: Stop broadcasting terrestrial analog channels: VTV1, VTV2, VTV3, VTC1, VTC9, DRT2 and QRT (covering Ba Na).
The Document also required stations continuously informed about the schedule of ending the broadcasting of each terrestrial television channel in Da Nang and implemented their scheduled plan.
