Speaking at the Conference, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said that radio industry with coverage of 99 percent residential area in Vietnam, has made great contributions to national socio-economic development and improved people’s cultural livelihood especially people living in remote areas and islands.
The 2013 RadioAsia Conference brought value to Vietnam for sharing experiences and defining suitable steps in the future aiming at a high quality and effective radio industry. In addition to, the 2013 RadioAsia- a helpful forum for leaders and experts, particularly radio broadcasters to share and exchange their ideas on the trend for radio and media development in the future.
The 2013 RadioAsia was hosted by the Voice of Viet Nam and jointly co-organized by Asia- Pacific Broadcasting Union, the Asian Media Information and Communication Centre (AMIC). The Conference attracted the participation of 500 delegates from major radio and television stations in the region and the world.
