MoU for mutual cooperation in idragon project signed

Memorandum of Understanding for mutual cooperation in idragon project was signed in Hanoi on 22, February 2011 by Vietnam National Institute of Software and Digital Content Industry (NISCI) and Core Technology Development Centre of Japan’s Panasonic System Networks Co.Ltd (PSN- CTDC)

Attending the ceremony were Minister of Information and Communications Le Doan Hop; Japanese Ambassador in Vietnam Tanizaki Yasuaki, Technical Director of Panasonic system network company Tokikazu Matsumoto, Director of PSN CTDC Naokazu Susa; functional units under MIC and Managing Board of NISCI and PSN- CTDC.

The MoU between NISCI and PSN- CTDC is one of MoU within cooperation agreement on IT development signed between MIC and Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. The signed MoU is aimed at researching; transferring and applying core technologies in the coreless computer network in iDragon Project which NISCI is implementing and holding copyright in cooperation with another partner- Total Security Services (T-SS).

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Minister of Information and Communications Le Doan Hop said that Vietnam is carrying out synchronous measures to implement a project convert Vietnam into an ICT power and one of important contents of the project is software and digital content industry.

Minister also expressed desire that the signing of this MoU would make favorable conditions in producing materials for IT industry as well as strengthen Vietnam- Japan cooperative ties.

At the ceremony, Deputy Director of Hanoi Planning and Investment Authority Nguyen Thi Bai granted BCC Investment Certificate to NISCI and T- SS.
