Co-organised by the Doanh Nhan Sai Gon (Saigon Entrepreneur) Weekly Magazine, the Vietnam Publishers Association - Southern Representative Office, and Ho Chi Minh City Book Street Company, this year's Entrepreneur and Books Week shows that the number of the participation of publishing houses and book publishers has doubled compared to last year. Accordingly, the 23 units accompanying the event are not only those operating at Book Street but include all publishing houses and book units nationwide.

Outstanding activities during the Entrepreneur and Books Week 2021 include the exhibitions of "Top 100 books worth having in business bookcases", "Top 10 books worth reading" and "Books written by entrepreneurs" at Nguyen Van Binh Book Street; a workshop on "Developing reading culture in enterprises"; an exchange programme titled "Getting started through the pages of books" in both online form and face-to-face at Hoa Sen University; the launch ceremony of the book "Vuot Len Nhung Con Duong Kinh Doanh" (Beyond the way of business) by businessman Phan Minh Thong, who is General Director of Phuc Sinh Joint Stock Company; and the launch ceremony of the Vietnam Business Bookcase.

The new feature of this year’s week is the implementation of voting for the Top 100 books worth having on business bookshelves.

During the Entrepreneur and Book Week 2021, many publishers and bookstores have accompanied the organising board to encourage and promote the spirit of reading through direct book discounts of 20-35%.

At the same time, the series of events during the annual event also contributes to contribute to bringing entrepreneurs closer to books, helping to spread the values of books and the role of entrepreneurs to the community, promoting propaganda, aiming to encourage entrepreneurs to keep writing and studying, contributing to improving the management capacity and competitiveness of businesses.
