Vietnam photograph exhibition and film week in Sweden

On August 28, the Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Vietnamese Embassy in Sweden organized Vietnam's photograph exhibition and film week in Stockholm on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the National Day of S.R.Viet Nam and the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Sweden. Attending the opening ceremony was Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Hoang Vinh Bao.

 Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Hoang Vinh Bao said that Sweden was the first Western country to establish diplomatic relations with Vietnam in the context that Vietnam was carrying out the resistance war for independence and freedom.

At present, Sweden continues to be an important and potential partner of Vietnam both in economic and international cooperation.
 
In the field of information and communication, Sweden is one of the leading partners in the field of training and improving skills for Vietnamese journalists.
 
In the field of telecommunications, Ericsson - one of the leading Swedish corporations, has been in Vietnam since 1991, having many cooperation with Vietnamese enterprises.
 
According to the Deputy Minister, with nearly 300 photos, publications, books and hundreds of selected documentaries, making an overview of Vietnam and Vietnam-Sweden relations, the exhibition brings images of the country and the current socio-economic achievements in Vietnam.
 
Deputy Minister Hoang Vinh Bao also emphasized that the exhibition is also a message to the Government, people of Sweden, expatriates living in Sweden and international friends about a beautiful, peaceful and dynamic Vietnam. Vietnam is a reliable friend and partner of all countries in the world.
 
According to the schedule, the Ministry of Information and Communications's delegation led by Deputy Minister Hoang Vinh Bao had working sessions with the Swedish Communications Commission, the Swedish Press and Broadcasting Administration to exchange management experience and digital communication in the context of the industrial revolution 4.0.
