The event was attended by Politburo member, Secretary of Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC’s Commission for Organisation Pham Minh Chinh, among others.
The 600-page book consists of 130 articles on the Party and State leader that have been collected by Nhan Dan Newspaper since 2017.
The articles are arranged in three parts, with the first honouring Party Chief Trong as a great personality.
The second part highlights his ingenious leadership as well as contributions to the cause of national construction and defence. Meanwhile, the last part is comprised of articles on the leader’s external activities, thereby featuring the sentiments of international friends’ towards the Vietnamese leader.
Speaking at the ceremony, Politburo member Pham Minh Chinh said that through the book, officials, Party members and the people will be more fully aware of raising their responsibilities to fulfil all assigned tasks.
Member of the PCC and Editor-in-chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Thuan Huu, who is also Deputy Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communication and Education, expressed his hope that the book would help people learn more about the Party’s comprehensive leadership during the country’s process of innovation and international integration as well as the life and career of Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong.
