Deputy Minister of Post and Telecommunications of Laos expressed his gratitude to Vietnam for inviting the Lao Ministry of Post and Telecommunications to attend the ASEAN Conference on 5G. The conference provided a lot of useful information from experts of management agencies and enterprises around the world about the experience of deploying 5G network. He expected the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam to support Laos to organize 5G Conference scheduled to be held in mid-2019.
Deputy Minister Pham Hong Hai said that the Ministry of Information and Communication of Vietnam was willing to send experts and share experiences to support Laos in organizing 5G Conference.
Minister Nguyen Manh Hung recently has an official visit to Laos and there are many initiatives signed between the two sides during this visit, including a cooperative memorandum in the field of ICT industry and e-government.
