Speaking at the forum, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Hoang Vinh Bao said that Vietnam had many strong telecom, IT enterprises in terms of capital, technology and staff: Viettel, VNPT, FPT, VTC, Mobifone, etc , which were always supported and created favorable conditions for their overseas investment, especially in a country with special cooperation such as Cambodia.
The Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam wishes to cooperate with the Cambodian authorities to enhance cooperation by sharing of experiences and promoting cooperation between the two countries' businesses.
At the Forum, representatives of ministries, sectors and businesses of the two countries shared their management experiences, technology trends and lessons learned in implementing e-government in each country.
Representatives of enterprises such as Metfone, Smart, FPT presented technology solutions, proposed a model of public-private partnership to promote the efficiency of information technology application in finance-banking, education-training as well as new trends in smart city development in the digital age.
