Training courses for Cambodian journalists

On July 24, in Ho Chi Minh City, the opening ceremony of the press training course themed "Skills in writing good work, good people" was held for journalists from the Kingdom of Cambodia. Attending the opening ceremony was Mr. Hoang Vinh Bao, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications of S.R.Vietnam.

In September, 2016, the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam and the Ministry of Information of the Kingdom of Cambodia signed a cooperation agreement on information and communication for the new period (from 2016 to 2020) to maintain and consolidate the co-operative activities, contributing to promoting and strengthening the traditional relationship between the two peoples as well as the two ministries.
 
This is the first, significant course that begins series of training activities that will be held annually during the new cooperation period from 2017 to 2020.
  
The purpose of this training course is to help Cambodian journalists improve their professional skills.
 
At the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Hoang Vinh Bao emphasized that the opening of a training program under the agreement signed between the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam and the Ministry of Information of the Kingdom of Cambodia on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations affirmed the friendship between Cambodia and Vietnam - "Good Neighbours, Traditional Friendship, Comprehensive Cooperation and Sustainable Development ".
