On November, 29, in Paris, the Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan chaired a meeting between ICT Vietnamese – France enterprises.
Opening the meeting, Minister Truong Minh Tuan invited French companies to invest in Vietnam: Currently, Vietnam was a destination for foreign investors, especially in the field of ICT. Vietnam has a transparent legal environment, attractive incentives and synchronous infrastructure as well as advanced high-tech zones to meet the needs of foreign corporations.
Vietnam is the number one destination in the region of ICT international corporations. Vietnam’s ICT enterprises are developing strongly, with strong potentials in terms of capital, technology, human resources and management experience, such as: VNPT, Mobifone, Viettel, VTC, FPT.
"Vietnam will create favorable conditions for French enterprises investing and doing business in Vietnam", Minister Truong Minh Tuan committed.
Deputy Director in charge of export promotion of the Business France affirmed the determination of the French enterprises to choose Vietnam for their investment.
Many French companies are operating efficiently. And Vietnam operators now also start operating in France. VNPT and Viettel opened representative offices in Paris.
In just two hours, there were dozens of bilateral and multilateral meetings between Vietnam and France ICT enterprises in the presence of Minister Truong Minh Tuan.
In the last working day in France, Minister Truong Minh Tuan signed a letter of intention on Vietnam - France e-government cooperation with Mr. Vincent Place, State Secretary in charge of State reform and administrative procedures.
The French government commits to support French businesses to invest in Vietnam. With the established bilateral strategic partnership, Vietnam enterprises have more opportunities to invest in France and Europe.
