Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Hung receives Ambassador of North Korea

On October, 4, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Hung received the Ambassador of North Korea Kim Myong Gil.

At the meeting, Mr. Kim Myong Gil presented a brief report on the politic, economic situation of North Korea, and expressed his desire to boost cooperation between the two countries in the field of Information and Communications.

Mr. Kim Myong Gil shared, North Korea was willing to cooperate with Vietnam in all fields, especially in the field of information technology. North Korean is proud of its human resources and education system. North Korea is ready to share its human resources and technology with Vietnam and wishes to sign a number of cooperation agreements with Vietnam to strongly develop information technology in particular and information and communications in general, Mr. Kim Myong Gil stressed.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Hung appreciated the support of North Korean to Vietnam in recent years. These efforts have contributed to enhance the trust, the basis of cooperation in all fields, in the spirit of mutual benefits, between the two countries. Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Hung affirmed to support and promote cooperation between the two countries in all fields, especially in information and communications.
