The Autumn Book Fair 2016 is held on the basis of the successful results of previous book fairs. This is also the first fair organized in the form of socialization, under the direction of the state management agency. The book fair has attracted the participation of 60 publishing, distribution, postal units across the country, with more than 70 stalls.
Besides, a notable highlight, attracting readers is events and activities held during the fair, such as: publication promotion; author – readers meetings; workshops, seminars on specific topics of each unit, etc creating the attraction of the book fair 2016.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan emphasized: Autumn Book Fair 2016 and other book fairs would form cultural activities connecting to books, creating the reading culture in community life. At the same time this is also an opportunity for units operating in the field of publishing to promote and introduce their products and brands, which contribute to the development of the whole publishing sector.
The Autumn Book Fair 2016 takes place from September, 9 – 13, 2016.
