Vietnam wins two first prizes at ASEAN ICT Awards 2015

The country has been given 2 first, 1 second and 1 third prizes at ASEAN ICT Awards (AICTA) 2015 at a ceremony in Danang City on November 26.

Two first prizes went to the following products: e-commerce government of Danang’s Department of Information and Communications in public sector category, and TiengAnh123.com website on online learning English of BeOnline Co. Ltd in digital content category.

AICTA was held under the framework of the 15th ASEAN Telecommunications and Information Technology Ministers’ Meeting (TELMIN).
 
At the ceremony held in Danang City on November 26, Vietnamese Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Bac Son and ASEAN General Secretary Le Luong Minh presented 18 prizes to winners of ASEAN ICT Awards 2015.
 
The ASEAN ICT Awards (AICTA) project was approved by the ASEAN Telecommunication Ministers.
 
AICTA aims to be the benchmark for success in terms of innovation and creativity, offering business opportunities and promoting trade relations thus uplifting the strength of ICT and community awareness in ASEAN both locally and internationally.
 
AICTA consists of six award categories, namely public sector, private sector, corporate social responsibility, digital content, start-up company and research and development.
