Vietnam, Algeria sign MoU on cooperation in the field of post, telecommunication and information technology

At the invitation of the Vietnamese Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Bac Son, the Algerian Minister of Post, Information Techonologies and Communications Mossa Benhamadi has paid a three- day visit to Vietnam from 19- 21 September.

The relationship between Viet Nam and Algeria has been ceaselessly reinforced. The two countries has supported each other in developing information and communications technology in over the past years.

Both sides has exchanged cooperative activities in the field of State management on post, telecommunication and information technologies via cooperative programs between the two Governments.

This visit of the Algerian delegation showed the Algerian Government’s interest in Vietnam’s development in ICT and will strengthen cooperation in this field of two countries.

During the meeting, the two ministers discussed issues relating to the fields of post, telecommunications and information technology.

On September 19th,  the two ministers signed Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the fields of post, telecommunications and information technology.

During the working visit to Viet Nam, the Algerian delegation has paid their visits to leading companies on telecommunication and information technology such as VNPT, Viettel, CMC etc.
