Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Hung meets Ambassador of Digital Affairs of France
On October 4, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Information and Communications, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Hung received Mr. Henri Verdier - Ambassador of Digital Affairs of France.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Hung highly appreciated the bilateral cooperation between France and Vietnam in many fields, especially in the field of information technology and cybersecurity. Currently, the Government of Vietnam in general and the Ministry of Information and Communications in particular are very interested in the contents related to the construction of e-Government, digital transformation, digital economic development and information security to create a secured environment for development.
The Ministry of Information and Communications welcomes and supports cooperation activities with international experienced partners, especially who are from leading countries in building e-government and cybersecurity like France.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Hung believes that the visit of Ambassador Henri Verdier will continue to strengthen cooperation between Vietnam and France, and hopes that France will support Vietnam on a mutually beneficial basis.
The French Ambassador appreciates the cooperation between the two countries and said that France is always ready to share its experiences and support Vietnam in the field of digital transformation and cybersecurity.
