The exhibition displays 300 photos and 60 reportage - documentary films about ASEAN countries. The works reflect the beauty of ASEAN countries; peoples and traditional cultures of ASEAN countries; environmental protection; ethnic groups in the ASEAN community.
In particular, appearing in a center position at the exhibition are the ASEAN common stamp and seal. This is the model that won the First prize in the stamp and seal design competition for the ASEAN community in 2015.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Hoang Vinh Bao emphasized that the exhibition is a meaningful activity, expressing the wishes of the Vietnamese people in joining hands, contributing to building the ASEAN community for peace, stability and development; enhancing the common understanding about the ASEAN community.
This is the achievement of 50 years of cooperative efforts of all member countries, marking an important milestone of the integration process, in which Vietnam is considered as an important factor to ensure the unity of the community.
2019 is an important milestone marking the development and prosperity of the ASEAN community. This is also an important year in the context that Vietnam is urgently preparing for ASEAN 2020 as Vietnam will take the role of the ASEAN President.
